aSA & Kary
a collaborative project

Delving into types of architectural buildings, a classmate and I put our heads together to combine our previous projects to create a space that would embody elements of each others buildings. With Asa's cascading floor plan and the rounded geometry used in my project, we created a living space that explored the idea of public v.s private spaces.

This project was an experiment to create an envelope using just the material given to us: butter board. Held together by the parallel lines that run horizontally through the shape. No tape or glue was necessary for this project.

Due to covid my semester went remote. While working from home, I was inspired by a reservoir near where I live. I envisioned a small space directed toward a single potter who could occupy the top floor divided into they're living space and studio and the bottom space as a gallery or more studio space. This building hugs the end of the reservoir where a small steep hill lies. From one end, the artist has a view of the water while the other end faces the neighborhood.

Can Lis

Project

This project was a study of the Can Lis house by Danish Architect, Jørn Utzon. Throughout the term I  observed the living space of the Can Lis, recreating a clay model and drawings of floor plans, elevations, and sectionals.
