This internship was designed for those interested in a
thorough education in restaurant design, operations, facilities, and more. Within the 2-weeks of this program, I went through intensive courses, guided by experienced Kelly Architects staff.

 

Topics learned during the program...

- (CBC) California Building Code Issues 

- Programming and Basics

- Understanding Codes

- (MEP) Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing,

- Dining Process and Design.

By the end of this internship, I got to present a design concept of my own of a restaurant/bar plan to a couple of the Kelly Architects team. I left this internship with concrete knowledge of what is involved in designing a successful restaurant and bar in LA.
